This classic fishing knife comes standard with a 5″ Stainless Steel blade with the back-side designed for quick and easy fish scaling. The handle is made from rosewood. It comes standard with a full leather sheath. The sheath gets its ‘natural’ color from the tanning process used. Just as man did thousands of years ago, these sheaths are tanned with tannic acid from vegetable sources, such as oak bark. Mora still uses this environmentally safe method. It produces a leather with a finer surface and which will age beautifully and naturally. The added bonus is that it does not produce allergies.
Knife blades are made of hardenable stainless steel- Sandvik 12C27 (hardened to HRC 57-58), producing knives with extreme strength, long life as well as having high resistance to moisture without rusting.
