Survival and The 80/20 Rule: 30, 45 or 60 minutes

Audience Participation: Medium
Powerpoint: Yes (optional)
Price: $300 + travel

Italian economist Vifredo Pareto developed an interesting principle after observing that 20% of the land owners in Italy owned 80% of the land.  Ironically, 20% of the pea plants in his garden also produced 80% of the peas.  This principle, now known as the Pareto Principle, is also called the 80/20 Rule.  It has also been called the theory of ‘the critical few and the trivial many’.  Ultimately, it suggests that 20% of the causes create 80% of the effects.  This simple ratio proves true in almost every area of life.  In this presentation  Creek discusses how you can become a better survivalist AND producer by identifying and manipulating existing 80/20 patterns in your life.  This is a great presentation for businesses, sales teams and organizations wanting to discuss efficiency and motivation in the workplace.

When Getting Home is the First Priority: How to build a GET HOME BAG: 30, 45 or 60 minutes

Audience Participation: High
Powerpoint: No
Price: $300 + travel

Whether natural or man-made, disasters create horrific circumstances.  Disasters don’t care about our busy schedules or wait until the perfect moment to strike.  Sometimes they strike at the most inconvenient times – including when we are at work, on vacation or away from home.  From flooding and traffic jams to detours and road closures, the commute home can become a survival journey in and of itself.  A Get Home Bag is a disaster survival kit designed to travel with you in the car or be kept at work.  It contains a variety of survival items one might need to navigate a difficult journey home.  In this presentation, Creek describes how to build a Get Home Bag and discusses the importance of each element.  This course is filled with group participation and product demonstrations.  You can also choose to award autographed copies of Creek’s best-selling book, Build the Perfect Bug Out Bag, and/or assembled Get Home Bags.  These are an extra fee but really add to the excitement of the presentation.

I called Creek in August and he agreed to do a shortened version of the program at our library. He did a two hour program here and my teens LOVED it!  I cannot say enough great things about Creek. I personally find it very difficult to find a great presenter for teens, but Creek is a hidden gem.

FAITH – A Survival Skill?: 30, 45 or 60 minutes

Audience Participation: Medium
Powerpoint: Yes (Optional)
Price: $300 + travel
Churches: Travel fees only

As a Christian, Creek believes that FAITH and SURVIVAL are interconnected.  Creek grew up reading the fantastic stories of the Bible; which fueled his passion for the topic.  From Noah’s great Disaster Bug Out to the Jews wandering the desert for 40 years, the Bible is filled with stories of survival and preparedness.  The fact is that God used survival scenarios extensively throughout the Bible to teach valuable lessons about patience, faith, life and love.  There’s nothing like a survival scenario to reconnect people to faith and God.  In this presentation, Creek discusses this relationship and suggests that faith is our most important survival skill of all.
